Retreat Overview

This is a women’s retreat that invokes enchantment with a place and a pace that naturally invites us to reconnect with ourselves and with nature. We will journey to Mexico and the magical Valle de Bravo region, initially gathering in the artistically crafted eco-village of El Encinal before winding down at a peaceful, quite modern lakeside retreat.

Each day is intentionally curated to offer rest, exploration, wonder, and play. Throughout it all, we’ll weave in creative discovery and spacious moments of quiet across two exceptional, nature-embraced lodging locations.

This land, its people, and its culture hold the power to reconnect you with your spirit and the wisdom she longs to share.

Day 1 - Arrive at El Encinal

On our first afternoon and evening, you’ll be welcomed with a light dinner, time to settle in, and a relaxing sound bath in the meditation room. Our small number of participants (limited to 10) allows for individual preferences and close interactions with our friends in Valle de Bravo and with each other.

Days 2 & 3

Mornings will begin at your own pace, with leisurely breakfasts and optional yoga, tai chi, or guided meditation. We’ll enjoy a nearby forest walk and spend relaxed, creative time with Victor Klassan, meditating, painting and sculpting. Evenings will unfold with music, drumming, and dancing—around El Encinal’s fire pit, and in Victor’s extraordinary upstairs performance space.

Day 4

On our fourth day, we’ll depart El Encinal for a scenic drive through the forested outskirts of Valle de Bravo, stopping at Carmel Maranatha, nearby waterfalls and parks, and the iconic hang-glider launch site. We’ll then arrive at our lovely lakefront house–spacious and ever inviting–our home for the rest of the retreat.

Days 5 - 7

In the days that follow, we’ll learn about the extraordinary migration of monarch butterflies and visit their sensational winter sanctuary, explore the vibrant colonial town of Valle de Bravo, and enjoy a world-class musical recital and exquisitely prepared brunch in a lush garden setting.

Throughout it all, we’ll weave in creative discovery and spacious moments of quiet across two exceptional, nature-embraced lodging locations.
